Welcome to Glory -- a Berusaiyu no Bara compendium. I had heard about BeruBara (short for Berusaiyu no Bara) long ago, but it wasn't until summer of 2003 that I was actually able to watch the anime. Even though this series is considered to be a classic in Japan, finding this series is actually quite difficult as it is rather old. As I was immediately hooked on the series the moment I saw it, I proceeded to buy the manga and research the story behind the story as much as I could. I've watched a lot of anime over the years, but I have never been so quickly a fan of a show as I was for Berusaiyu no Bara. It has been my experience that everyone I've shown BeruBara to has also become a fan to some degree, so it is my hope to introduce as many people as I can to this wonderful classic.

If you are absolutely brand-new to Berusaiyu no Bara—also known as Lady Oscar or Rose of Versailles, depending—the best place for you to start is the comprehensive overview. Otherwise, please feel free to check out the different features on this site, most of which are totally unique to the web (as they are my own contributions or creations).

The BeruBara community on the web is a small but steadfast one, so I do hope you'll drop a line in my guestbook to let me know you were here. Thanks!
