Ceres and Neptune - experiment

My first time working in non-oil pastel, so I was giving this medium a shot. I just wanted to get a feel for how to use pastels and how it moves around the paper, but for a first time I think this study of sorts has a really nice flair to it. The colors are basic but the mixing works quite well, and, well is it wrong to be in love with my own creation? I think Marc looks awesome in this! =)
