Les Roses au Jardin ~DreamScape~ - character study

I wish I could do stuff like this more often. It's just that usually the stuff I put out is very cursory -- I like to complete things within an hour, purely so I can get my creative juices unclogged. Rarely do I feel motivated enough to work on something for a week with a great deal of patience. Luckily, in this case, I did.
This took me a good week or so of very steady work, and I absolutely love it. Because of the light acrylic washes I did on non-watercolor paper, the paper did warp and crease a bit, and as a result when I scanned it those creases showed up. They don't on the real thing, and at the moment it's flattening out so maybe I'll rescan it once it has flattened.
Marc and Pacifica are in the uniforms worn by André and Oscar (a woman) in Versailles no Bara (Rose of Versailles) right before the end of the story, the storming of the Bastille. I absolutely postively am in love with this series, so this was something of a loving tribute using my own characters. It's definitely saying something about my love for the series when my tribute to it turns out *this* well!
I'm really honored that I've actually had requests for prints of this piece, so I'm offering prints to anyone else who wants them. No, they're not free, but if you'd like to purchase a print (they're cheap) you can just click that button up top (Paypal) and purchase one. If you want special treatment, like matting or framing or multiple copies or something, please note that, because that will cost extra and I'll have to recalculate the price.
